Mission Statement/Proposal
We (Smyrna Church of Christ) in an effort to strengthen the body and win the lost, believe there needs to be an educational alternative to the public school system which will put God "back on His throne" in young people's lives.
Believing that our children's education is never complete without the Bible as the primary text;
Believing that we must be faithful to such scriptures as: Proverbs 22:6; Deuteronomy 6:7; Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 4:9;
Believing that non-Christians in an anti-Christian atmosphere cannot positively strengthen or help establish Faith in our children;
We will hold forth the ministry of Smyrna Christian School. We will not compromise our position as an overtly Christian School. We do not seek to replicate the public school system and therefore may be markedly different than the typical public school. The Bible will always be our primary tool for Faith training and education.
Enrollment at Smyrna Christian School will be made available first to members of the Smyrna Church of Christ and to the families of current students. Additional openings will be made available to the general public on a first come, first served basis. All students will abide by the rules of our Christian School or be removed.
